The client is seeking an Assistant Vice President/Chief Advancement Officer for the Northeast Florida region. Based in Jacksonville, they will build and oversee a comprehensive philanthropy program for The client’s Northeast operations. This role will provide strategic leadership for fundraising and advancement activities across multiple affiliated units, with a focus on supporting health system priorities and engaging donors in meaningful ways.
The Chief Advancement Officer will oversee development and related initiatives, including grateful patient fundraising, annual giving, stewardship, capital projects, and Children's Miracle Network programs. They are expected to manage and coordinate advancement efforts to strengthen donor relationships and create a cohesive donor experience. As the organization prepares for a comprehensive fundraising campaign, the role will support alignment between regional priorities and the broader institutional philanthropic effort.
Successful candidates will be collaborative leaders who understand development work as a process that starts with listening to institutional aspirations and translating them into donor engagement opportunities.
