The client provides comprehensive 360° search solutions for global commodities markets and is seeking an Assistant Vice President to join a Singapore-based bunker trading house team focused on thermal coal sales in Non-China and Non-India markets.
In this role, the Assistant Vice President will develop and execute trading strategies aligned with organizational goals, and formulate trading plans for Non-China and Non-India operations. The position will also involve cultivating and overseeing industry connections across South-East Asia and South Korea, driving new business through client acquisition, and supervising the trading program by addressing team capabilities and providing necessary support.
The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of thermal coal product specifics, including INCO terms, contracts, transaction processes, and bulk freight to enable seamless transactions. Experience in the thermal coal industry is expected, along with demonstrated success in thermal coal sales and marketing, a strong technical grasp of thermal coal and related markets, and an analytical mindset with solid commercial skills.
