The client, a leading global company in the natural resources sector, is seeking an Assistant General Counsel to join their legal team in Vancouver, British Columbia. The successful candidate will provide pragmatic legal advice to various departments, manage corporate commercial matters, and collaborate with external counsel as needed. The ideal candidate will have an LL.B. or J.D. degree, be a member in good standing with a Canadian Law Society, and have at least years of corporate commercial experience, with some in-house legal experience. Strong judgment, communication skills, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with internal stakeholders are essential for success in this role. The compensation for this position is $200,000 to $250,000 per annum, plus bonus, long-term incentive plan, pension, and comprehensive benefits.
