Our client is looking to hire an Assistant Director to take on a leadership role in grant-making activities, specifically focusing on the Research Project Grant (RPG) and the Triennial Grant Schemes. This position will also involve representing the Trust in meetings with partners and academic colleagues, as well as contributing to policy development in areas such as EDI, AI, research culture, and conduct. The Assistant Director will play a key role in shaping the direction of the Trust's activities in its centenary year.The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong background in grant-making and experience in engaging with academic and research communities. They should have a deep understanding of policy development in areas related to EDI, AI, research culture, and conduct.
