The NQSC is undergoing a significant transformation to modernize its regulatory functions, enhance operational efficiency through data-driven decision-making, and shift towards a more risk-based regulatory approach. The Data and Regulatory Transformation (DART) program, a Tier 1 transformation initiative, aims to implement a suite of interoperable data, systems, tools, and new operational practices. This will enable the Commission to analyze interactions between Participants and Providers, predict risks, address issues proactively, and establish itself as a strong regulator in the industry.The Assistant Commissioner, Data, Change, and Program Management plays a crucial role in overseeing the Program Management Office, Change, User Experience, and Data Delivery streams within the Data and Regulatory Transformation Program. This position is responsible for driving the successful implementation of the DART program, ensuring effective change management, optimizing user experience, and facilitating data delivery. The Assistant Commissioner will be instrumental in leading the organization through this transformative period, ultimately positioning the NQSC as a more efficient, data-driven, and risk-focused regulatory body.
