The client seeks an Asset Management Service Director to lead the asset management team by providing leadership, technical support, and direction. This role is responsible for ensuring successful implementation and ongoing account management, with a focus on long-term service obligations to customers.
The director will develop and execute operational plans that cover preventive maintenance, emergency response, repairs, and temporary services to optimize asset and system performance. Responsibilities include creating and maintaining plant manuals and operational plans, implementing quality control measures, coordinating communication and collaboration across customer and internal teams, and overseeing vendor and subcontractor onboarding and performance. The role also includes aligning internal business units to support maintenance and operational needs, reviewing KPIs and maintenance records, and leading continuous improvement initiatives based on account performance and customer satisfaction.
The position involves managing team hiring, discipline, and training development, as well as allocating resources to meet commitments to customers and ensure operational resilience and efficiency. The director is expected to maintain high standards of legal and regulatory compliance and ethical conduct, ensure work quality according to applicable standards, and support effective reporting and performance evaluation. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree (preferred), typically at least 10 years’ experience in service operations and management, and at least five additional years managing teams and personnel, along with strong customer management, business growth, communication, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance and repair knowledge; the role also requires travel to job sites and office locations for approximately 20–60% of the time.
