The client seeks an Asset Management Service Director to lead the asset management team by providing technical support, direction, and oversight of successful implementation and ongoing account management. In this role, you will manage service operations to support long-term customer obligations, ensuring assets and systems perform effectively while maintaining strong operational standards and customer outcomes.
Key responsibilities include developing and executing operational and maintenance plans, including preventive maintenance, emergency response, repairs, and temporary services. You will create and maintain plant manuals and operational plans, implement quality control measures, onboard and manage vendors and subcontractors, and coordinate internal business units to support maintenance and asset management operations. The role also involves hiring, coaching, disciplinary action, and training development for the asset management team and clients, alongside regular review of KPIs, customer reports, and maintenance records to drive performance and continuous improvement.
The position is expected to require leadership experience across service operations and management, including managing teams and personnel, working with multiple customers and cross-functional teams, and demonstrating strong troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repair knowledge. Preferred qualifications include a bachelor’s degree, along with customer management and business growth capabilities, effective communication, attention to detail in a fast-paced environment, and awareness of industry and competitors; managing profit and loss, reporting, and financial forecasting skills are also expected. The role involves travel to job sites and office locations as needed, estimated at 20–60% of the time.
