Description

The client seeks a visionary, results-driven Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the organization through its next phase of strategic growth, academic excellence, and organizational impact. The CEO serves as the chief executive and educational leader, responsible for overall performance, long-term strategy, and sustainability. In this role, the CEO oversees both academic outcomes and operational effectiveness, leading growth and expansion initiatives that extend the organization’s reach and impact.

The CEO operates at a systems level to ensure school leaders are empowered and held accountable for day-to-day instructional leadership and school-based operations. The role is expected to champion a student-centered approach grounded in high expectations, bilingual learning, and meaningful engagement with families and the broader community, aligning leadership, staff, and programs with the organization’s mission, vision, and values. The CEO provides a direct point of connection to the board and acts as the primary liaison between the board and the organization to maintain alignment across internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include setting a system-wide vision for academic excellence across K–12 programs; guiding and integrating curricular and instructional efforts to maximize student outcomes; and supporting, developing, and evaluating school leadership within a culture of accountability and continuous improvement grounded in student results. The CEO also oversees organizational operations, including human resources, finance, facilities, student nutrition and transportation, safety and security, information technology, building systems, and compliance, while ensuring alignment with applicable charter and state regulatory requirements.
