The client is seeking an Area Sales Executive to cover the Caribbean territory and help develop business through a network of agents and retailers. The role focuses on building relationships with distributors and points of sale, supporting commercial execution, and contributing to sales growth across the assigned region.
Key responsibilities include forecasting sales by product and territory, traveling to meet distributors, and managing yearly budgeting and planning with clients. The role will involve negotiating prices, quantities, and point-of-sale space, advising clients on how to allocate marketing budgets, ensuring marketing plans and merchandising are implemented effectively, training sales staff, coordinating promotional events and product launches, controlling inventory, and monitoring competitor activity and market trends.
The ideal candidate is a junior sales professional with about 1–2 years of international sales experience in luxury goods, with familiarity with Caribbean or Latin America markets and/or travel retail contexts. A bachelor’s degree minimum is expected, along with strong organization and prioritization skills, excellent communication and presentation abilities, and solid MS Office capabilities; bilingual English and Spanish may be a strong advantage. The position is expected to involve frequent international travel and extended working hours, and the client seeks candidates who have up-to-date US work authorization (without sponsorship).
