Description

Drive long-term sales strategy and business growth across the APAC region in alignment with global objectives, including identifying and prioritizing key growth markets and client segments and tailoring approaches to their needs. Pursue new business opportunities while deepening relationships with institutional and wholesale clients such as banks, trading houses, refiners, and investors. Represent the client in industry conferences and client meetings to enhance brand visibility and market leadership.

Manage and engage a diverse client base by supporting a comprehensive range of precious metals services, including refining, physical trading, paper trading, and investment solutions. Use data-driven insights and market research to anticipate market shifts and adapt strategies accordingly, and collect client feedback and market intelligence to continuously improve products, services, and sales tactics. Coordinate closely with cross-functional teams across trading, production, marketing, and commercial operations to support integrated service delivery.

Lead and inspire a cross-border sales team by setting clear KPIs, conducting performance reviews, and fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, and ethical business conduct. Oversee sales execution, pricing strategies, promotions, and product launches, while driving cross-selling and synergies across refining, trading, and related business lines. Ensure operational excellence and strong governance, including compliance with applicable regulations and adherence to ESG and responsible sourcing commitments; successful applicants typically bring a master’s degree or equivalent, extensive sales leadership experience in relevant areas, deep knowledge of precious metals/commodity physical and paper trading, strong regulatory and compliance understanding, proven APAC sales strategy execution, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and leadership experience with multicultural, cross-border teams, with English proficiency required.
