The client is seeking a Chief Commercial Officer to lead national sales growth in their fast-scaling food import and distribution business. Reporting directly to the CEO, the CCO will be responsible for driving the commercial strategy across retail, food service, and wholesale channels. The successful candidate will work with national chains like Coles and Woolworths, independent Asian grocers, and cash & carry outlets to build sales momentum and drive margin growth.
The ideal candidate will have experience in food import, distribution, or food service, with a proven track record of building sales teams and delivering commercial outcomes. Fluency in Cantonese and/or Mandarin is highly valued to support supplier and customer relationships across Asia. The CCO will lead a high-performing commercial team, focusing on key account management, food service and wholesale development, brand sales marketing, category and trade execution, data-led growth planning, and cross-functional collaboration.
