The client is seeking a change management leader to support a financial direction in an agile, inclusive environment. The role will define the vision and an AI roadmap aligned with finance strategy and regulatory considerations, ensuring that the purpose of the transformation is clearly communicated and that teams can understand and address concerns related to change.
Key responsibilities include giving meaning to the AI transformation by explaining objectives, deconstructing concerns such as replacement, loss of control, and compliance risks, and positioning AI as a lever to enhance business capabilities. The role will identify, prioritize, and pilot AI use cases across areas such as accounting automation, reconciliations, anomaly detection, financial close, reporting, and internal control.
The position will govern a portfolio of complex AI projects, including budget, planning, risks, and interdependencies, while coordinating key stakeholders across accounting, IT, data, security, compliance, and external partners. It will also drive business adoption through change management, training, communication, and capability building, and will measure initiative performance and ROI; qualifications include proven experience leading transformation programs with a strong preference for finance/accounting exposure, strong people-centered change leadership, recognized listening and team-empowerment skills, sufficient data/AI fluency to collaborate with technical teams, and excellent communication, coaching, and structuring abilities.
