This is a senior, business-facing AI leadership role with real influence over how artificial intelligence is embedded across a complex, asset-heavy organization. You will shape the approach from strategy through delivery, with a focus on measurable commercial impact. The client is an entrepreneurial, data-rich investment and operating group that treats AI as a long-term strategic capability rather than a standalone function.
You will own the end-to-end AI agenda across the business and work closely with senior stakeholders. Responsibilities include defining and delivering a company-wide AI strategy aligned to commercial objectives; identifying high-value AI and automation use cases across investments, operations, and corporate functions; partnering with data and technology teams to enable advanced analytics; and leading vendor selection and oversight to move AI solutions from concept to production. You will also drive adoption through change management, training, and clear communication of value.
The role requires strong commercial experience leading AI or advanced analytics initiatives in complex organizations, along with a deep understanding of machine learning, analytics, and AI applications in a business context. You must be able to translate technical capability into clear business outcomes and ROI, and demonstrate confident stakeholder management across senior leaders. Experience in asset-intensive or investment-led environments is advantageous, and you will be expected to ensure responsible AI governance, data privacy, and regulatory compliance.
