Yolanda has founded and scaled-up several contract research companies with a focus on e-capturing andplatforms that interface with life-sciences and health-tech. Yolanda was most recently a managingpartner of CiNTL, where she worked to drive the shift from therapeutically aligned business tocorporate partnerships with leading life-sciences firms and increased business productivity by 75% in2022.Prior to her tenure at AIAC, Yolanda founded Leading LatinX in 2022, a digital platform to help driveDEI change in corporations by aligning with Leading Latinx executives making social impact and helpempower women and young girls globally. She remains the chairman and chapters are being launchedthroughout the USA, Europe and Latin America.Yolanda was previously the founder and CEO of C. International, a CRO that partnered up with servalprivate investors and Leading LatinX and co-founder of Poetree BV and The HeraInternationalFoundation. In the past she has held leadership roles for Astellas, Genzyme, and PRA International,and was a key contributor to the EMA and FDA approval of Myozyme® for the treatment of Pompedisease. In her roles, Yolanda has been responsible for projects with operating budgets upwards of a$1billion.Yolanda serves on the Avara Pharmaceutical Services-Advisory Board, She is a Senior Advisor to thechairman of The American Industrial Acquisition Corporation, serves as VP-board of directors for TheProject Management Institute, is on the Board of Trustees for The D’Oyle Carte Foundation.She is often featured as a guest speaker in conferences covering LatinX women in Boards. Moreover,she has received several scientific awards and has been recognized and profiled in WHO’s Who InMedicine and Research. She has been selected as member of Topvrouw (TopWoman) for theNetherlands. In addition, she has co-published in multiple Scientific Journals and published a book onAccess to Medicines.Yolanda holds a BA in Biology and chemistry from CCSU. a Master of Public Health (MPH) from VrijeUniversity (VU), and holds an Executive Leadership Certificate from Yale School of Management(YSOM) with distinction Summa Cumme Laude.Yolanda is fluent in Spanish, English and is proficient in Dutch and Sign Language
