Bringing over 20 years of elite legal architecture, international technology operations, and senior leadership advisory experience to her practice, Veena specializes in recruiting top-tier digital talent, conducting comprehensive board and executive team assessments, and advising global organizations on complex change management and growth strategies. Prior to joining Spencer Stuart in October 2021, she spent over three years as a Consultant within the Technology Sector at Russell Reynolds Associates. Additionally, she lent her governance expertise to the FTSE 250 heavy engineering corporation IMI as a member of their global Growth Advisory Board. Veena’s corporate foundation includes a distinguished, decade-long tenure at eBay Inc., where she served as the Senior Legal Director and Global Head of Intellectual Property. In this capacity, she led an international legal matrix across the US, Europe, and Asia, steering high-stakes commercial strategies, M&A due diligence, and regulatory compliance protocols for iconic digital brands including PayPal, StubHub, Gumtree, and eBay Marketplaces. She began her career as a Silicon Valley-focused corporate and media attorney with Osborne Clarke. Veena graduated with First Class Honors and won the Sweet & Maxwell prize for academic achievement during her Bachelor of Laws (LL. B.) studies at the Brunel University of London, attended an elite legal exchange program at the University of South Carolina, and earned her Legal Practice Course (LPC) qualification with Distinction from the London College of Law.
