Tuija Lavonen is a Partner at Avant Advisors, based in Helsinki, Finland. A social psychologist by training, Tuija leverages over two decades of experience in organizational psychology, executive search, and human capital consulting across the public, private, and social impact sectors. Her current practice at Avant Advisors centers on helping modern organizations achieve competitive parity by building inclusive leadership teams, optimizing boardroom dynamics, and managing high-stakes cross-border executive searches across the Nordic region and continental Europe. Alongside her core search advisory, she serves as a Board Member for BallerAI. Tuija’s extensive consulting track record includes an eight-year tenure as the Managing Partner of Boyden Finland and nearly six years at MPS Finland Consulting Oy, where she held senior leadership roles including Senior Partner, Competence Director, and Business Unit Manager. She began her career in organizational human behavior as a Research Assistant with Psycon Corporation and a graduate researcher at the University of Helsinki's Department of Social Psychology. Tuija holds a Master’s Degree in Social Psychology from the University of Helsinki.
