Tommi Lankila, PhD, is an Executive Search and Assessment Consultant at Russell Reynolds Associates in Helsinki, Finland, where he has worked since 2018. Utilizing an extensive international background and Hogan Certification, he specializes in identifying and evaluating transformational leadership teams at the board, CEO, and C-suite levels for industrial, consumer, service, and tech organizations. Prior to entering the executive search profession, Tommi built a highly decorated academic career. He worked as an Early Stage Researcher under the European Union's Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions from 2013 to 2016 based at the University of Rome Tor Vergata, and served as a Pre-Doctoral Researcher and Special Collections Research Assistant at Princeton University between 2011 and 2018. Fluent in English, Finnish, and Italian, Tommi holds a dual PhD in History from Princeton University and the University of Rome Tor Vergata, focusing his doctoral research on leadership, social mobility, and cross-cultural organizations of power. He also earned a Master's degree in History from Princeton, alongside a Master of Arts in Classics and Middle Eastern Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in Classics from the University of Helsinki.
