Todd Maher is a Consultant in the Asset Management Practice at Spencer Stuart, where he has served since January 2007. He leads senior-level executive searches across the asset and wealth management, insurance, and risk management sectors, partnering with mutual funds, hedge funds, endowments, foundations, private equity firms, insurance companies, family offices, and wealth managers. Functionally, his work spans investments, risk management, general management, marketing, distribution, operations, and compliance. Todd also co-leads Spencer Stuart's global risk management practice, heading chief risk officer, market risk, credit risk, and operations risk assignments. Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, he worked as an Equity Analyst covering industrial sectors at Legg Mason. Previously, he was an investment banker at Deutsche Bank, advising industrial companies on mergers, acquisitions, and capital markets activities. Todd earned an MBA from the Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Science with highest honors in Finance from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
