Timo Tervolin is a Consultant at Russell Reynolds Associates. He is an executive search and leadership development professional with 20 years of executive experience in M&A and strategy across industrial goods, ICT distribution, mobile technology, and management consulting. Prior to joining Russell Reynolds Associates in 2022, Timo served as the Vice President of M&A and Strategy at Nokian Tyres plc for over six years, where he managed M&A transactions, created the corporate opportunity map, and led cross-border market entry and operating model change projects. Previously, he spent over three years as Senior Director and Head of Global Mergers and Acquisitions at Ingram Micro in Orange County, California, leading a team of strategy professionals across corporate, cloud, and mobility transactions. Earlier in his career, Timo worked at Nokia for nearly seven years in California, holding positions as Manager of Corporate Strategy, Senior Manager of Strategy & Business Development, and Director of Strategy Development. He began his career as a Consultant at Boston Consulting Group, executing strategy and M&A projects from 2003 to 2006. Timo holds an M. Sc. in Engineering from the Department of Technical Physics and an M. Sc. in Economics specializing in Financial Economics, both from Aalto University.
