Stefano Valvano is a Managing Director and Partner at Russell Reynolds Associates, where he leads the Financial Services practice in Italy. He specializes in identifying and developing top-tier leadership for major banking, insurance, and private equity institutions. Stefano brings over 20 years of high-level strategy consulting experience to executive search, having previously served as a Managing Director & Partner at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG). During his nearly 17-year tenure at BCG, he was a key member of the regional Financial Institutions management team, advising European clients on complex corporate strategies, digital transformations, and large-scale M&A. Stefano is also an active member of the Italian investment community through the Club degli Investitori and serves as a contract professor at the University of Eastern Piedmont. He holds an MSc cum laude in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Turin and studied at the Copenhagen Business School.
