Shelagh Levangie is a Principal at Harbour West Consulting, where she serves as an expert advisor to public and not-for-profit organizations across British Columbia. With a career rooted in the intersection of complex human systems and organizational strategy, she specializes in executive search, leadership development, and human resource policy. Her deep expertise in the academic and healthcare sectors is highlighted by her past roles at the University of British Columbia (UBC), where she served as Director of Human Resources for the Faculty of Medicine and Director of Administration for the Department of Family Practice. Shelagh is also a dedicated educator, having served as an Anthropology Instructor at Corpus Christi College for nearly two decades. An accomplished researcher, she has managed multi-site national research projects and authored work on global Indigenous politics. She holds a Master of Arts in Cultural Anthropology from Concordia University and a Bachelor of Arts from UBC.
