Shannon Duval is a 26-year philanthropy professional, having served each of those years in health care philanthropy. Most recently, Duval served as the Senior Vice President and Deputy Chief Philanthropy Officer for CommonSpirit Health, one of the nation's largest nonprofit health systems. Duval has represented charities ranging from academic medicine, national health charities, to community-based health care. Currently, she is the principal and owner of Good Today Better Tomorrow Advisers, LLC, where she works to advance philanthropy best practice across the nonprofit community. Duval serves as vice chair of the Board of Trustees of her alma mater, Luther College, and holds master’s degrees from Indiana University and Drake Law School. Duval and her husband reside in the greater Denver, Colorado area with their two teenage sons, and enjoy hiking, traveling, and time spent with family and friends.
