Dr. Scott Flanagan is a Managing Director and Senior Executive Coach at Academic Search, where he bridges the gap between institutional mission and high-impact leadership. A former President of Edgewood College, Scott brings over 30 years of firsthand experience in higher education management, having led significant gains in student diversity, endowment growth, and graduation rates during his presidency. Since 2020, he has partnered on nearly 30 senior-level searches, including 10 presidential placements. Through his private practice, Flanagan Solutions, he extends his expertise to corporate and non-profit leaders, focusing on strategic clarity and talent development. Scott is an ICF-Associate Certified Coach and a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach. He holds an Ed. D. in Higher Education Management from the University of Pennsylvania, where his dissertation on Catholic university values was awarded distinction, along with an MBA and a BS in Political Science.
