Ruth Curran is a Consultant at Spencer Stuart based in Dublin, where she leads the consulting and client-facing team in Ireland and oversees the global functions practices as well as the Financial Officer practice in EMEA. She is also a member of the CEO and board practice, advising senior executives and boards on strategic, organizational, and talent-related challenges. With more than 20 years of experience in executive search and leadership advisory, she has developed a strong reputation for delivering high-quality outcomes and building long-term client relationships across financial services, consumer sectors, and private equity-backed organizations. Prior to joining Spencer Stuart in 2019 through the acquisition of MERC Partners, she spent over 15 years at MERC Partners, where she served as Managing Partner and Partner, leading executive search and leadership advisory services in Ireland. She also held senior leadership roles within IIC Partners, including Global Chair and EMEA Director. Earlier in her career, she built her foundation in executive search and consulting roles. She holds a B. Comm from the National University of Ireland, Galway, an FCCA qualification from the Chartered Institute of Certified Accountants, and completed executive education at Harvard Business School.
