Richard Davis, Ph. D., is a Managing Director at Russell Reynolds Associates and a licensed Industrial/Organizational Psychologist. Based in Toronto, he advises Boards, CEOs, and Private Equity investors on critical leadership matters, including executive hiring, management team backing, and leadership transitions. Richard is the author of the best-selling books Good Judgment and The Intangibles of Leadership, and is a frequent contributor to major publications such as the Harvard Business Review and the Wall Street Journal. Before joining Russell Reynolds, he was the CEO and Founder of Kilberry, a boutique firm of organizational psychologists acquired by Russell Reynolds in 2023. His previous experience includes serving as a Partner at RHR International and as an Executive in Residence at the Rotman School of Management. Richard holds an M. A. and Ph. D. in Psychology from Boston University and York University, respectively.
