Rachelle Russell is a Partner at Hobson Leavy, based in New Plymouth. With over 15 years of recruitment experience, she specializes in executive search for CEO, C-suite, and Non-executive Director appointments across all sectors. Of Ngāti Raukawa descent, she is a Māori recruitment specialist with significant experience helping clients incorporate a Te Ao Māori perspective into their leadership hiring processes. Prior to joining Hobson Leavy in 2024, Rachelle served as General Manager, Māori at JacksonStone & Partners and was a Group Client Solutions Partner at Accordant NZ, where she drove collaboration across Madison, Absolute IT, and JacksonStone. Her extensive tenure at Madison Recruitment included roles as Southern Regional Manager, Business Manager, Team Leader for Business Support, and Senior Recruitment Consultant. Rachelle’s early career included roles within recruitment and business support following her studies. She holds a Bachelor of Applied Hospitality and Tourism Management from the Pacific International Hotel Management School and completed her secondary education at New Plymouth Girls' High School.
