Nikolaos Karamouzis is the Chairman of the Stanton Chase Athens Advisory Committee. Nikolaos is a leading expert in banking and economics. Currently, he is Chairman of Grant Thornton, Management Consultant at Eurobank Ergasias S.A., and a member of numerous boards of directors for various firms and foundations. He has been an active member of many of these boards for almost thirty years. Previously, Nikolaos worked for decades as Chief Executive Officer for leading banks in Greece. Nikolaos is an Emeritus Professor at the University of Piraeus. He has also held various professorial roles at Athens University, The American College of Greece, Case Western Reserve University, and Pennsylvania State University. He has written extensively (books, journals, articles, and magazines) in Greek and international publications. Nikolaos holds a B.Sc. in Economics from the University of Piraeus, Greece, an M.A. in Economics from American University in Washington, D.C., and a Ph.D. in Economics from Pennsylvania State University in the U.S.A.
