Monica Burton is a Partner in the Higher Education practice in Odgers Berndtson's New York office. She has enjoyed a 20-year career in executive search most recently as co-lead of the Higher Education practice at another prominent global firm. Throughout her career in executive search, Monica has recruited senior leaders across diverse industries. While early experience included work with Fortune 500 companies and preeminent private equity firms, she always dedicated a portion of her practice to serving mission-driven organizations including education, nonprofit and healthcare. Her clients appreciate her dedication and astute ability in identifying, assessing and recruiting the right talent for their organizations. An avid supporter of the arts, she currently serves as board treasurer of Keigwin + Company, a critically acclaimed, NYC modern dance troupe, while supporting individual artists in their creative pursuits. Monica is a graduate of Georgetown University with a bachelor's degree in French and Government. She studied comparative foreign policy in Paris at L'Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Paris.
