Michi Nilsson is a Senior Consultant at Kaneko & Associates, where she has operated as a retained executive recruiter since 2015, supporting professional service industries across Tokyo and Lund. Her professional versatility is highlighted by her tenure as the Representative for K. K. Golden Bucket, an international chocolate import business, and over 13 years as a freelance translator and ghostwriter. During her time as a translator, she specialized in media reports, educational materials, and corporate documentation, while also authoring content for published English phrase books. Earlier in her career, she served as an Executive Assistant to the Vice President at British American Tobacco in Tokyo. Michi holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of Arizona and is an alumna of the Singapore American School.
