Mike Assin is a Principal at Heidrick & Struggles in Hong Kong, where he has served since January 2023. Within the Heidrick Consulting division, he focuses on supporting global C-suite executives and leadership teams in making strategic decisions through empirical, data-driven evidence. His work involves clarifying organizational ambitions, assessing current states, and closing performance gaps through organizational design and leadership assessment. Mike has been with Heidrick & Struggles for nearly ten years, progressing through roles including Engagement Leader, Consultant, and Analyst in both the Hong Kong and London offices. His earlier experience includes serving as an iSkills Champion at Leeds University Business School. Mike holds a Master of Science in International Business with Distinction from the University of Leeds and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the same institution. He also completed a Master of Business Administration exchange program in International Business at Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
