He brings a powerful combination of executive search expertise and deep industrial experience, having served as a Senior Client Partner at Korn Ferry and a Principal at Heidrick & Struggles. Before entering the leadership advisory sector, Melvin held significant strategy and engineering roles at Johnson Controls, where he led Asia-wide M&A initiatives and managed multi-million dollar product launches in the automotive division. He holds an MBA from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business and a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University, and is executive-certified in Mergers & Acquisitions from the Chicago Booth School of Business.
