Maximilian Bader is a Partner at Boyden in the Greater Munich Metropolitan Area, where he specializes in executive search and board services across high-tech and industrial sectors. With a career spanning nearly two decades in corporate finance and strategic consulting, he brings deep expertise to assignments involving C-suite placements for technology, automotive, and private equity-backed firms. Before joining Boyden, Maximilian served as a Principal at Heads! International and spent six years at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) as a Project Leader and Principal focusing on corporate finance and strategy. His foundational experience includes leadership roles in deal advisory and M&A at KPMG and EY. Maximilian holds a Ph. D. (Dr. rer. pol.) in Empirical Corporate Finance from the Technical University of Munich, where his research focused on CEO disciplining using global data. He also earned a Master’s degree in Technology and Management from the same institution and has served as a visiting researcher at Università Bocconi and UNSW.
