Margarita Lueder is the Director of Research at Preng & Associates, based in Park City, Utah. With eight years of experience at the firm, she has progressed through roles including Knowledge Manager and Senior Knowledge Research Analyst, specializing in identifying top-tier executive and board talent for the global energy industry. Her expertise covers a broad spectrum of sectors, including oil and gas, renewables, and energy transition, for a client base that includes private equity firms, law firms, and public companies. Prior to joining Preng & Associates, Margarita served as a Trading Assistant for crude oil futures and options at DXT Commodities and held an Asset Analytics internship at Xcel Energy, where she specialized in financial modeling and competitor intelligence. Her early career includes technical internships at Kimmeridge Energy and PetroCubic. Margarita holds a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines, where she was a merit scholar and NCAA student-athlete.
