Marcia has an international, multicultural background in HR consulting, especially in talent acquisition and development. Her global experience working with organizations in a variety of sectors, interacting with senior leaders, managers, and high potentials, has enabled her to understand both systemic and individual issues that challenge people in various functional areas across organizations. With significant experience in the management of international projects, she believes and practices "true global thinking with local execution." Having started her career in clinical psychology and then on to become an executive coach and HR consultant, she experienced significant accomplishments in terms of professional identity and leadership assessment. Marcia enjoys supporting leaders during transition and cultural change periods. Marcia has designed and successfully implemented a customized development program using 360-degree assessment tools. She works collaboratively with clients to identify and tailor talent management solutions adapted to their needs, context and challenges, with a clear focus on maximizing benefits for all stakeholders. She builds a warm and trusting environment, and her experience makes her credible to work at senior levels within and across multicultural organizations. Marcia is fluent and proficient in English, Portuguese and Spanish. She held the position of Training and Development Coordinator to Brazil, Colombia and Argentina at Price Waterhouse Coopers, International Consulting Division. Also, she has taught at Harvard University and UNC at Wilmington. Marcia received several awards while teaching at Harvard and co-authored two chapters in two published books in the context of communication between health care providers and the immigrant community. Marcia completed her Psychology program in Brazil as well as a post-graduate program in Human Resources. She completed two master's degrees in the US in Intercultural Relations and Counseling Psychology.
