Based in Hong Kong, Marc Baloch is a consultant in Spencer Stuart’s Financial Services Practice. With a focus across the insurance industry, Marc has helped recruit many innovators and transformational leaders to advance the strategic initiatives of many major multinational companies across the region. Expert global consultant with experience across Asia Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, Marc was a partner at a global boutique leadership advisory firm, leading that firm’s financial services practice across Asia and its insurance practice globally. Marc has more than 15 years of international search experience with a number of firms in diverse markets, including Hong Kong, Singapore, Tokyo, Frankfurt and Munich. Early in his career, Marc worked as director of fixed income with Akamai Financial Markets in Singapore and Tokyo and at Kinsey Allen in Hong Kong. Marc earned his master’s degree in sociology, political science and Japanese studies from the Julius Maximilians University in Würzburg, Germany. During his studies, he was awarded a full-year scholarship to Chuo University in Tokyo. Marc speaks fluent English, Japanese and German, as well as conversational French and Romanian.
