Malissa Brennan is a Managing Associate at DSG | Koya in the Nashville Metropolitan Area, where she works in executive search supporting nonprofit and higher education organizations in identifying and placing leadership talent. In her current role, she focuses on building authentic relationships with candidates and clients, with a strong emphasis on mission-driven leadership recruitment and helping organizations strengthen their social impact. Prior to her promotion to Managing Associate in 2022, she served as Vice President and Senior Associate, and earlier as an Associate in Executive Search at DSG | Koya, gaining progressive experience in nonprofit recruitment and leadership advisory. Alongside her executive search career, she has worked extensively as a Yoga Teacher with Wonder Yoga & Wellness, One World of Yoga, Corner Studio Yoga, Majestic Yoga Studio, and CorePower Yoga, and has also worked as a Model/Talent with Model Club Inc. Earlier in her professional career, she held multiple roles at Blueprint Schools Network, including AmeriCorps Program Manager and Recruiting Manager, focusing on educational equity and student achievement initiatives. She also served as Coordinator for Admissions and Recruitment at the Institute for Recruitment of Teachers at Phillips Academy, and held student development roles at Brown University, George Mason University, and Sacred Heart University. Malissa holds a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature & Secondary Education from Salve Regina University and a Master of Arts in Teaching from Sacred Heart University.
