Malini Vaidya is a Partner and co-lead for the Private Equity business in the Asia Pacific region at Spencer Stuart. Based in Singapore, she previously led the firm’s Asia Pacific business as the Regional Manager, overseeing operations across 10 offices from India through to Greater China, Japan, and Australia. With 20 years at Spencer Stuart, she has been instrumental in driving the CEO and Boards practice specifically within the financial services and consumer industries. Before her regional leadership role, she served as the Managing Director for South East Asia and the Regional Head of the Consumer Practice for APAC. Prior to joining Spencer Stuart in 2006, Malini was a Principal at Egon Zehnder International, where she led the Financial Services Practice for South East Asia. Her earlier career includes over eight years as a Director at ANZ Banking Group, focusing on project finance, investment, and corporate banking in the United States and India. Malini holds an MS in Finance and a Master’s in Economics from Northeastern University.
