Malcolm Sclanders is an Organisation Development Architect at Heidrick & Struggles in London, where he works within Heidrick Consulting advising organisations on designing and delivering their future operating models, workforce structures, and cultural transformation. With over 25 years of organisation development experience, he supports UK and global clients across both private and public sectors in building future-ready organisations that respond to disruptive forces such as automation, AI, gig economy trends, and multi-generational workforces. His current work focuses on organisational foresight, defining company signature strategies, and shaping leadership, workforce, and cultural requirements to accelerate transformation outcomes. Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles in 2017, he worked as a Managing Consultant at PA Consulting Group, delivering operating model design, strategic workforce planning, and transformation programmes. Earlier, he served as Head of Organisation Effectiveness at Rolls-Royce and as Director of People Services at PwC, where he led HR transformation and culture change initiatives. He also held senior consulting roles at Detica, Capgemini, Bourton Group, and began his career in HR and organisational development at APV Baker, Perkins Engines, Thomas Cook, and Adair International. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel and Catering Administration from the University of Huddersfield and is CIPD-qualified.
