Klaus Hansen is a Partner at Odgers Berndtson in Frankfurt, where he leads the Chair & Board Practice. With over 30 years of experience at the firm, he specializes in the search and assessment of Non-Executive Directors, Senior Advisors, and C-suite executives across a diverse range of global industries. Klaus previously served as the Managing Partner for Germany for over a decade, during which time he also sat on the Global Board with strategic oversight of 14 continental European offices. His deep industrial expertise is particularly focused on the Energy, Utilities, and Aerospace & Defense sectors. Before entering the executive search profession, Klaus served for ten years as an officer in the Bundeswehr (German Federal Armed Forces), concluding his active duty as a Parachute Anti-Tank Company Commander; he currently holds the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the reserves. He earned his Master of Science in Economics from the Helmut Schmidt University of the Federal Armed Forces in Hamburg.
