Experience Kaan’s executive search work focuses on chief executive officers, board directors, financial officers, corporate and government affairs, and marketing and sales officers. He is a licensed executive assessor. Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Kaan established Tuna Tour and Zen Insurance Companies and owned the Marmara region distributorship for the STFA-Ogden service partnership. Prior to that, he spent eight years with leading news print companies Hurriyet and Star Groups. Early in his career, he played professional basketball at Efes Pilsen, serving as a team captain, having won the national championship at the Turkish National League 11 times.
