Jorge Gouveia de Oliveira is a Partner in the London office of Heidrick & Struggles, where he is a member of the global CEO & Board and Industrial Practices and leads the Metals & Mining practice for Europe and Africa. He acts as a trusted advisor to public and private industrial companies globally, advising boards on CEO and chairman succession, leadership team development, and non-executive director appointments. In addition to his search work, he serves on the Advisory Board of LTPlabs, a firm focused on AI and advanced analytics solutions. Before joining Heidrick & Struggles in 2021, Jorge was a Partner at another leading executive search firm, where he led the Global Metals & Mining Practice. His earlier career includes serving as the head of corporate development for Nyrstar and holding senior corporate finance roles at Monitor Group, Credit Suisse First Boston, JP Capital International, and JPMorgan Chase. Jorge holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Porto and an MBA from INSEAD.
