Jerry Israel is Of Counsel at Academic Search, where he focuses on presidential strategy, board relations, accreditation, and institutional effectiveness within higher education. He advises academic leaders on board communications, strategic planning, fundraising, alumni affairs, and crisis communications, and frequently supports new presidents in structuring their first 100 days, six months, and first year in office. In addition to his advisory work, he has served as a consultant since 2009 and has been a Member of the Board of Trustees at Northcentral University since 2010. Earlier in his career, he held leadership roles including Interim President of Lambuth University and President of the University of Indianapolis from 1998 to 2005, where he led strategic planning initiatives, major fundraising campaigns exceeding $100 million, and significant enrollment growth. Prior to that, he served as President of Morningside College from 1993 to 1998. Jerry holds a PhD from Rutgers University, an MA from the University of Michigan, and a BA from New York University, and attended the Institute for Educational Management at Harvard University
