As a consultant in the Financial Officers Practice, with an additional focus on consumer leaders, Ilse specializes in finance leadership for public and private companies and private equity–backed portfolio companies across the Netherlands and internationally. This includes executive search as well as broader finance leadership assessment and development. Ilse has ten years of experience in corporate banking roles and has a strong understanding of how CFOs can master the challenges of today’s business world. She excels in building lasting relationships and fostering an environment of trust and collaboration, and is considered to be a strategic sparring partner by many clients. Ilse helps her clients find financial officers with the right background, mindset and leadership skills which are central to the success of any organization. Discovering and developing finance industry leadership for a better future Ilse held a variety of roles at Dutch bank ABN AMRO Bank N.V., where she was most recently part of the corporate banking team, managing complex portfolios and developing high-level corporate financing strategies for large companies in the consumer and industrial sectors. Earlier in her career she worked with proprietary and commodity traders and gathered a strong understanding of various asset classes traded on exchanges, based out of London. Ilse has both a Master of Business Law and a Master of International Management from Radboud University, Nijmegen. She also earned her Bachelor of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Law from Radboud University. She has since completed Harvard Law School’s Program on Negotiation along with other key courses to further her expertise in her field.
