Mr. King is a senior rewards and has worked with numerous clients across Western and Northern Canada. Mr. King has designed and implemented base and incentive compensation systems in both the private and public sectors. He has also assisted clients in examining the competitiveness of their employee group benefit plans. Skilled at bringing a diverse group to consensus, Mr. King has assisted numerous organizations gain the buy in necessary to implement efficient new pay systems. Mr. King has worked in the area of compensation for nearly 30 years and has consulted for Korn Ferry (formerly Korn Ferry) for 12 years. He has been employed in and consulted to public sector organizations as well as publicly traded and privately held organizations. Mr. King has worked with organizations of all sizes from the very small to the very large and across numerous industries. Mr. King has deep expertise in job evaluation and measurement, base compensation, short and long term incentives, executive compensation, group benefits, and conducting compensation surveys. A former head of compensation, he brings a client-side practical perspective as well as a business acumen as well. Mr. King holds a bachelor of commerce degree from the University of Alberta. He is also a Certified Compensation Professional and a Certified Employee Benefits Specialist. His most recent experience was as the director of compensation and benefits at a large Canadian mining company.
