Gert is one of the most experienced Executive Search consultants in Austria and a founding member of Stanton Chase Vienna. He offers more than 25 years of experience in Executive Search and Human Resources Consulting in Austria and Western, Central and Eastern Europe. He successfully managed more than 600 assignments for clients in various industries, mainly focusing on the Industrial (Construction Material, Chemical, Automotive, Pulp & Paper, Mechanical Engineering) and Consumer Goods and Services sector. Gert is Managing Partner in Stanton Chase International’s Vienna office. Between 2004 and 2018 he served as a VP EMEA and subsequently as a Global Practice Leader Industrial of Stanton Chase International. Prior to joining Stanton Chase International in 2003, Gert was a Partner with another global Top-4 Executive Search Firm´s Vienna office for eight years, focusing on Austrian and CEE searches as well as pan-European searches and management audits for local and international clients. Before this, Gert was a Partner of a leading Austrian search firm, where he conducted executive search assignments mainly in the fast moving consumer goods and manufacturing industries and headed their selection business in Austria. Gert launched his professional career as a strategy consultant for a leading international consulting company, working on projects in Austria, Western Europe and the United States. Gert holds a Master’s degree from Vienna’s University of Economics and Business Administration. He is fluent in German and English and speaks some French.
