Professional background My practice includes different types of financing transactions and financial law services, with a particular emphasis on acquisition finance, project finance, and general corporate finance. I obtained my bachelor's degree in law at Universiteit Hasselt, and my master's degree (major Economic, minor Tax) at KU Leuven (cum laude). Additionally, I completed an advanced master's degree in Corporate Law at KU Leuven (cum laude). Throughout my academic career, I was a board member of the Belgian Leadership Project, Editor-in-Chief of Law Review 'Jura Falconis' and co-founded the student organisation B2S Leuven. I did several internships in the Banking & Finance departments of (inter)national law firms in Belgium and Luxembourg. I am fluent in Dutch, English and Chechen, with a basic working proficiency in French and Russian.
