Elizabeth Teno is a Senior Principal at The Bedford Consulting Group Inc. in Toronto, where she has been working since February 2021, supporting retained executive search mandates as part of the TRANSEARCH International network, a global executive search organization. She is an award-winning executive search professional with over 15 years of experience leading senior-level search assignments across industries including retail, consumer packaged goods, manufacturing, telecommunications, financial services, media, and not-for-profit sectors. Prior to Bedford, she operated her own independent practice, Elizabeth Teno Executive Search Consulting, from 2017 to 2021, providing contract-based executive search and research services to global search firms and supporting end-to-end recruitment processes for C-suite, VP, and director-level roles. Earlier, she spent over seven years at Lee Hecht Harrison Knightsbridge (Amrop Knightsbridge), serving as Senior Consultant in Executive Search from 2012 to 2017 and Consultant from 2010 to 2012, delivering retained search mandates across multiple sectors. She also worked as Associate at Odgers Berndtson from 2007 to 2010 in the Consumer Products and Retail practice. Earlier in her career, she was Sales Manager at World Trade Group from 2004 to 2006. She holds an Honours BA in Cultural Studies from Trent University and a Diploma in Journalism from Durham College.
