Edward Mandla is Founder of Mandlason Search in Sydney, where he advises CEOs, founders, boards, and investors on high-stakes leadership hiring decisions through retained executive search and independent hiring judgement. His work focuses on complex environments across technology, SaaS, fintech, infrastructure, and private equity-backed scale-ups, where the cost of leadership mis-hire is significant. In addition to executive search, he provides “Hiring Judgement,” a decision-stage advisory service used to independently assess candidates already in process, offering structured evaluation at critical decision points. He also serves as a Technology Practice Lead at AltoPartners, an international executive search alliance spanning over 30 countries. Alongside this, he holds advisory and board roles including Advisory Board Member at EncompaaS, Board Member at Wink Reports, and Advisory Board Member at AraxaTech, contributing to governance, sales leadership, and strategic execution. Earlier in his career, he built Mandlason Search as a boutique executive search firm focused on discreet, judgement-led hiring. He holds a B. Com (Hons) in Accounting and Information Systems from UNSW, where he received First Class Honours and a University Medal.
