About Ms. Campbell
Dr. Dorothy Campbell is an acclaimed speaker, trainer, and administrator with over two decades of leadership in the field of communication. As the CEO of CommunicationLinksUS, LLC, she specializes in sharpening public speaking and interpersonal skills for professionals across business, education, and religious sectors. Dr. Campbell is a Professor of Communication Emeritus at Indiana University Northwest, where she held distinguished roles including Chair of the Communication Department, Dean of Arts and Sciences, and Interim Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs. Her administrative prowess is further evidenced by her tenure as President of the Faculty Organization and her work as a Fellow of the American Council on Education (ACE). A prolific scholar and educator, Dr. Campbell has authored more than 20 books and articles focused on the mechanics of effective communication. Her expertise is frequently sought by major corporations and public institutions to manage diversity initiatives and navigate complex organizational transitions. She has also served as the Director of the Speech Education Program at Bowling Green State University and held leadership positions as President and Vice President of the National Communication Association’s African American Caucus. Dr. Campbell holds a Ph. D. in Speech Communication Education from The Ohio State University.
