David Evans is the Managing Partner of Watermark Search International in Sydney, where he leads a highly experienced team specializing in Board appointments, interim leadership, and executive search. Prior to his current role, David was a Senior Partner and Head of Sydney at Amrop Carmichael Fisher, where he led senior executive mandates across property, insurance, and pharmaceutical sectors. He spent over a decade at Talent2, progressing from a Consultant in Sydney to the General Manager for the Middle East based in Dubai. During his tenure in EMEA, he managed complex P&Ls and led significant recruitment operations, including a major RPO for Apple and large-scale staffing projects for Tatweer Dubai. His career began in financial services recruitment, focusing on front-office banking assignments. David studied Arts, Psychology, English, and Economics at the University of Sydney and is an alumnus of Newington College.
